The Climate Change Authority has prepared a series of three stocktakes in 2019. The reports are:

  • Industry action on climate change mitigation in Australia: a stocktake of drivers for, and actions by, industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including new and emerging low emissions technologies (released 11 July 2019)
  • Australia's climate change policies at the Australian and state and territory government levels: a stocktake of government policies to achieve emissions reductions (released 8 March 2019)
  • International action on climate change mitigation: a stocktake of global climate change mitigation action (released 8 March 2019)

Along with other research and analysis, they will assist the Authority to update its advice to the Australian Government on policies to meet Australia's emissions reduction commitments under the Paris Agreement.

The Authority welcomes input on the accuracy and reliability of the information contained in the stocktakes and any relevant additional information.
