The Climate Change Authority meets regularly throughout the year and holds additional special meetings as required.
The Authority Charter (the Charter) sets out the Members’ agreed procedures to make sure it operates consistently with statutory obligations and good governance practice. The Charter addresses Authority meeting procedures, including disclosure of Members’ personal interests and management of conflicts of interest.
Members’ outside employment, offices and relevant direct investments are recorded in the Standing Notice of Members’ Interests, which is updated regularly by the members.
The standing notice is published along with Authority meeting outcomes to provide transparency about Member interests and Authority decisions.
