The Climate Change Act 2022(Opens in a new tab/window) requires the Authority to provide advice that relates to preparation of the Minister’s annual statement on progress towards emissions reduction targets, international developments, climate-related risks and climate policies, including the effectiveness of the Safeguard Mechanism.
