Our new report Unlocking Australia’s clean energy potential provides actionable recommendations for accelerating the deployment of renewable energy. The report builds on advice provided in the Climate Change Authority’s 2024 Annual Progress Report, outlining policy recommendations to:
- expand and extend investment in new renewable capacity
- maintain system security and reliability
- speed up connections of new generation to the grid
- unlock generation and storage at the local level.
