Authority observations on Australia’s 2030 target

The government has announced a target of 26-28 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030 for Australia.

This statement sets out the Authority’s observations on that target, including how it compares with the Authority’s recommendations and how Australia might meet its future emissions reduction goals.
